Fire Pit Projects
Locally owned, operator-led company acquiring an established small business in Los Angeles.
Who we are
We are a Los Angeles–based operators focused on acquiring and continuing to run one great business for the long term. We’re not a private equity fund and not looking to “buy a job” — our goal is to operate at a strategic level, stewarding a healthy company that already works.
We believe great small businesses are community assets, and with thoughtful succession they can continue to provide stability, employment, and generational value.
What We Are Looking for
We are industry-open, with a preference for stable categories where demand exceeds supply (for example: senior care, essential services, facility-based care businesses, etc.).
We’re seeking established companies that are:
Steady, essential, or service-based
Proven, profitable, and already working well
Relationship-based and trusted in the community
Built on recurring or reliable revenue
Located in Los Angeles or greater LA County
Financial and structural preferences:
Purchase price range: approximately $1M–$2M
Annual earnings target: $500k–$1M+
Not a franchise
Seller open to seller financing / phased transition
About Us
Our Approach
We focus on continuity and care:
Confidential process with minimal disruption to staff or customers
Culture and people stay intact
Smooth handoff, paced at the seller’s comfort level
Owner-operator commitment vs absentee ownership
Long-term, not a flip
Our Long Term Vision
We are building toward financial freedom through long-term business stewardship — not speculation. Our philosophy is simple: start hands-on to learn the business deeply, stabilize and strengthen what’s already working, and then shift into strategic leadership that scales responsibly.
As the business grows, our intent is:
Stability first → growth second
Keep jobs and culture at the center
Expand only once the foundation is strong
About the Founder
We’re Los Angeles–based operators with a background in customer experience, people leadership, and sustainable business operations. We seek to acquire, rather than build from scratch, because we believe in continuity — building on something that is already trusted, already working, and already serving the community.
Our goal is to be present in the early stages, working alongside the team to ensure a smooth transition, and then gradually step back into strategic leadership so the business can scale without losing what makes it special.
This is a long-term commitment rooted in respect for the people who built the business — and a desire to take care of it for its next chapter.
